In February 1979 my parents and I drove from Ohio to Florida, to Disney World. I saw the ocean for the first time, went on the ride It’s a Small World and came home with a bag of sea shells and this glow in the dark skull my mother bought me. It was the only vacation we took together, they were divorced two years later.
